Information we collect

• Order information. When you place an order, our checkout collects your name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number (if provided), and order contents.
• Payment information. Card details are entered directly into our payment processor's secure checkout. We do not see or store full card numbers.
• Email sign-ups. If you request a discount code or subscribe to updates, we store the email address you submit and the page you submitted it from.
• Support messages. Emails you send us, including any details you choose to include.
• Usage data. Standard technical information such as browser type, device type, referring page and pages viewed.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, health information, government identification numbers, or other sensitive personal details.

How we use your information

• To process, package, ship, and support your orders.
• To send order confirmations, shipping notices and tracking.
• To send educational updates, new product announcements and offers, if you asked for them.
• To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

Service providers

We share the minimum information needed with providers that operate parts of our business: our ecommerce and checkout platform (Shopify), payment processors, shipping carriers, and our email and hosting providers. These providers are permitted to use your information only to perform services for us. We do not sell your personal information.

Discretion

All orders ship in plain, unbranded outer packaging with no product descriptions on the outside. Your card statement shows a neutral billing descriptor rather than a description of what you bought.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart and age confirmation working, and to measure aggregate site usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site, including checkout, may not work correctly without them.

Email choices

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by emailing info@artofpegging.com. We will still send transactional messages related to orders you have placed.

Retention

Order records are retained as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal obligations. Marketing email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold, and rely on our checkout and hosting providers' encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Age requirement

This website is intended for adults aged 18 or older, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, to opt out of marketing, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising). California residents may exercise rights under the CCPA/CPRA, and residents of the EU and UK may exercise rights under the GDPR. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

International visitors

We operate from the United States. If you use this site from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.

Changes

We may update this policy. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
